tempboi.email gives you throwaway email inboxes for testing, development and agents. It is run by Postboi from the United Kingdom, and Postboi's terms apply alongside these.

What it is for

Receiving mail you expect: sign-up and verification emails, magic links, test sends from your own code. It only receives. Nothing can be sent from a tempboi address, and it never forwards anything anywhere.

What it isn't for

Anything you need to keep. Don't use an inbox for accounts you care about: once it has expired, nobody can read its mail, including you, and the address may later be given to somebody else. Don't use it to get around another service's limits, to take part in fraud, or for anything illegal.

Your inbox and its mail

An inbox lasts an hour unless you ask for longer, and a day at most. It holds up to 100 messages of up to 10 MB each. When it expires, or when you delete it, the inbox and every message in it are deleted, usually within a minute. We don't keep copies and we don't read your mail.

Reading an inbox needs its token. Anyone who has the token can read the inbox, so treat a link that carries one like a password. The token sits after the # in the page's address, so it never reaches our servers in a page request.

No guarantees

It's free and provided as it is. Mail can be late, refused or lost, and some services refuse to send to throwaway addresses at all. We may limit or stop inboxes that are being misused.

Misuse

To report misuse, or mail that shouldn't be here, write to abuse@postboi.app with the address involved. We can delete any inbox immediately.
